Eli smiled at me tonight!
We are laying on our bed, just staring in wonder at our son, talking to him... Bryce got about eight inches from his face and said "hey, buddy," and no joke, Eli focused in on Bryce and smiled! 3 or 4 times they repeated this, Elijah staring right at Bryce and smiling! Happy 7 week birthday!

glad you guys made it back home safely. love the smiley pictures. it was so fun to spend time with you all and meet eli. he's a great kid! i tried to tell donna the rat story this morning and while i got some laughs and groans, it was no where near as funny as it was when you told it bryce. see you all next time! i hope it's soon. beth, i forgot to look at your most recent creation up close! before you deliver...or maybe when, or shortly after i want a closer inspection! love, faye
